Wissenschaft Zukunft Award 2026

The Wissenschaft Zukunft Preis, WZP honours top scientific achievements by young academics who are at the beginning of their scientific careers.

The thematic range of the Wissenschaft Zukunft Preis is open and includes all scientific disciplines. The prize is aimed at Master's graduates as well as graduates of doctoral studies whose academic theses have a Comprehensible reference to Lower Austria and were also graded "very good".

Three master's / diploma theses and two dissertations / PhD theses will be awarded prizes. The prizes will be announced and presented in autumn 2026 as part of the Lower Austria Science Awards ceremony.
